Skin Care Product Focus: Serums

What are serums and why do we want to use them?woman-taking-a-supplement

Serums in skin care are equivalent to vitamin supplements with daily food intake.

Serums are concentrated doses of key active ingredients that address particular skin needs not present in sufficient quantity in daily moisturizer.

Face with a Heart Skin Care features 2 unique serums that address unique skin concerns. They are applied before moisturizer (the skin’s daily meal).

Most common concerns from my clients:

  • Want younger looking skin.
  • Want to reduce fine lines, wrinkles.
  • want to reverse loss of elasticity resulting in a loosening skin.

Here are my 2 serums that directly address these concerns.

Contains a blend of powerful blend of Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and Palmitoyl-oligopeptide that help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This proper proportion of palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl-oligopeptide induces natural collagen production for skin healing and rejuvenation. Paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free.

Key ingredients

Palmitoyl-oligopeptide
Oligopeptides stimulate collagen and hyaluronic acid production.

Palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7
Reduces skin roughness, fine lines, thin skin and wrinkles.
May help treat rosacea and reduce the appearance of uneven skin tones

Enriched w/ Sodium Hyaluronate and Retinoids, this emollient serum hydrates the skin leaving it soft and supple, while Anti-oxidants and soy proteins help protect against environmental damage. Paraben free, sulfate free, gluten free.

Key Ingredients

Sodium Hyaluronate
A powerful humectant that attracts and holds on to water, making it the ultimate skin moisturizer. This helps to hydrate skin and keep it moist and supple by binding up to 1000 times its weight in water.

Because it attracts and binds to water, it causes slight swelling. This swelling helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and gives skin a more youthful appearance. The added water reflects light better to physically make skin look younger.

Retinoids
Retinoids work in reducing wrinkles, and  can improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin. Using retinoids along with products that have alpha-hydroxy acids may provide even more skin-smoothing effects.

These two serums are available individually and in a Bonus Value Bundle.
